Air Madagascar Windsurf Challenge 2006
Played from September 12 to 18, 2006 at Diego Suarez.
Following the success of the two previous editions, the Windsurf Challenge organized a new event in the region of Diego Suarez, Madagascar.
During the 8 days of competition at the reef Sakalava, riders enjoyed perfect conditions with good waves and winds. The good conditions allowed complete 3 full rounds. The format of this competition is a bit special, the heats are 20 minutes and riders themselves act as judges.
The end result of the Air Madagascar Windsurf Challenge 2006 was:
1 Alex Mussolini (Spain) - Neil Pryde, JP Australia.
2 Boujmaa Guilloul (Morocco) - Severne Sails, Starboard, Helly Hansen.
3 John Skye (England) - North Sails, F2, Helly Hansen.
