PWA Calendar 2008
The PWA Professionals Windsurfers Association, just to present the tentative schedule for 2008. The circuit count windsurfing world championship in 2008 with 13 events. In each of these events are played one or more modalities. As for slalom, maintaining the 7 tests last year. The novelty is a new wave test for women in El Medano, Tenerife. And the freestyle test back in Podersdorf, Austria also scoring for TVET.
Tentative schedule:
- Cape Verde from 7 to March 16, Waves men.
- El Medano, Tenerife 1 to April 5, Waves women.
- Podersdorf, Austria from April 29 to May 4, Freestyle men.
- Ulsan World Cup, Korea from 12 to 17 May, Slalom.
- Guincho, Portugal from 2 to June 7, Surf.
- Costa Brava, Spain from 10 to 15 June, Slalom men.
- Costa Teguise, Lanzarote 21 to 28 June, Freestyle, Slalom men.
- Pozo, Gran Canaria from 3 to July 12, Waves, Freestyle, Slalom.
- Sotavento, Fuerteventura from 18 to Jul. 28, Freestyle, Slalom.
- Alacati, Turkey 11 to August 16, Slalom.
- Ibiraquera, Brazil 1 to September 7, Surf.
- Sylt, Germany from September 26 to October 5, Waves, Freestyle, Slalom.
- Scotland in October, Waves men.
