Daida and Iballa fichan by Severne Sails and Starboard

The most successful female windsurfers in the history of windsurfing fichan by Severne Sails and Starboard (Starboard auqneu not yet officially announced).
The twins of Pozo Izquierdo, Daida Moreno and Iballa have dominated the windsurfing scene for over a decade and now they defend their titles using Severne sails with her teammates Karin Jaggi and Nayra Alonso who are also in the top of the ranking the PWA.

First was the Fuerteventura Wave Classic, held last March in the North Coast of Fuerteventura, and after the success of the epic conditions, the organizers announce the next Wave Classic in Reunion Island from 4 to 16 September 2009, 10 to 12 day waiting period between 4 and 16 September 2009 that will allow safe conditions of wind and perfect waves.

Ricardo Campello sends us this news about his upcoming Windecenter in El Yaque. Ricardo has decided not to participate in the Freestyle competition this year to devote himself only to the discipline of waves and get the Triple Forward Loop.
If things go as they are provided the windsurfing center will be operational in March 2009 with the full range of boards and sails Neilpryde JP Australia and Cabrinha kitesurfing equipment and other activities like wakeboarding, jet skiing, diving and more ...
It will offer courses from beginners up to experts and special occasions Clínics freestyle with the same Ricardo Campello. Yoli of Brendt is the center manager and will handle all customer service.

Nine days total for the 2008 season leading to an explosive conclusion on the white sands of Sylt.
The World Cup Sylt had its headquarters in the large area of the beach of Westerland from 25 September to 5 October, with athletes from all countries of the world social issues within 9 days of windsurfing as well as multidisciplinary crowned champions event like the World.

The picturesque Turkish town of Alaçati has offered 6 days non-stop wind to crown two world champions and present a spectacular battle for men's title in the decisive final race of the competition.
For the third successive year, the PWA returned to the shores of Alacati, Turkey, World Cup Pegasus Airlines. Before you even start the event, your name goes into history for the largest fleet enlisted for 6 days the show. The event marked the end of the Tour women's slalom, crowning the Slalom World Champion 2008. In the men's fleet, the event is the penultimate calendar 2008, the Frenchman Antoine Albeau dominating by winning all celebrated.

In a race for medals shortened by a wind shift of 90 degrees, Tom Ashley won the gold medal after finishing third.
The single-lap sprint was won by King Yin Chan (HKG) with Zubari Shahar (ISR) in second place. This was enough to skip to Nick Dempsey (GBR) and win the bronze medal behind Julien Bontemps just (FRA), who won silver.
While not wanting to pour cold water on what has been a fantastic first Games for the RS: X, where the three winners came virtually to the race for the medals with the same points, there will inevitably be questions about the effectiveness of the concept of thereof.

Yin Jian gold in RS: X Olympic Games in Beijing

In a race for medals little wind, Yin Jian (CHN) finished third, enough to get the gold by one point. This is the first medal in windsurfing history for China, Jiang added to the obtained silver in Athens four years ago.
Alessandra Sensini (ITA) won the race knowing that Jian had to beat two places to get the gold. Everything went as planned until the end of slalom just before the finish. Jian became the fifth and finished third after passing Marina Alabau (ESP) and Olga Maslivets (UKR) at the last minute of a tight sleeve.
Thus, Alessandra Senssini navigator becomes the most successful female Olympian of all time with 4 medals: one gold, one silver and two bronzes.
The bronze went to Bryony Shaw (GBR), who pushed hard in the last stretch towards the end of slalom to stay ahead of its nearest rival, Jessica Crisp (AUS) and Marina Alabau (ESP), thus becomes the only Women windsurfing medalist in Britain.

Unfortunately, the sponsors that the PWA World Tour hoped that supported the Tiree Wave World Cup 2008, could not confirm. As a result, the event will be delayed until 2009.

Well ignites passions with 9 days of incredible competition in freestyle, slalom and wave
Waves. Heat easily.
From day one, the legendary wind machine roared Pozo Izquierdo hard, hitting 40 knots of force and a considerable wave of the single elimination tournament.
Local favorite (Quatro, MFC, Mormaii) was stopped by the extra soft surfed Josh Angulo (MauiSails, Dakine), and Bruch continued to dominate the air with their rotations reduced gravity, beating Scott McKercher (Starboard, Severne). And quartered, Köster ran into the myth of the "favorite of the competition", Victor Fernandez (Fanatic, Simmer Style, MFC), going both on par with his jumps but helped Fernandez win by a perfect double forward.
The semifinals were tough, Bruch and Fernandez dominate, both went to the final, a tight fight between the two where Fernandez offered a cleaner code and technically superior to take first place ahead of Bruch.

After five days of strong wind and competition without pause, the sun sets on one of the most memorable freestyle events to date. Jose Estredo and Sarah remover Offringa emerged as dominant forces, taking home the victory.
Day 1. Men were first into the water. Towards evening, were Ricardo Campello (JP, NeilPryde, MFC), Jose Estredo (Fanatic, North Sails, MFC), Marcilio Browne (Mistral, Gaastra) and Kiri Thode who emerged as dominant forces moving toward the semifinal. Estredo showed strong determination but pressed resulting in numerous falls and opening the way to Campello. Consistency was the one that took the prize, and Browne Campello beat his appearance.
