Windsurfing World Championship - GP Catalunya Costa Brava PWA 2011

Once again, the beach of Cortal the Devesa de Sant Pere Pescador, at the Golf de Roses (Costa Brava), compared to Camping La Ballena Alegre, will receive professional windsurfing elite to play a test of the PWA World Tour: the Gran Premi Catalunya-Costa Brava.
From 31 May to 5 June, a total of 64 windsurfers from 30 countries attending the XIII edition of the event which takes place in the slalom.
With the canary Björn Dunkerbeck leading the rankings and as a strong contender for the title, along with American and French Micah Buzianis Antoine Albeau, provides a week of entertainment and action.
Coinciding with the PWA World Tour, as every year, and in the same frame, will celebrate the great festival of windsurfing Spanish, Surfalegre, who lives her new edition with the exhibition of material and the concentration of Volkswagen vans.

Budget cuts and the girls ran out of the slalom test PWA Sotavento on the island of Fuerteventura, and this time the test waves for the women in Sylt is endangered.
The great German organization also seems to suffer from budgetary constraints and therefore seems to have decided not to organize the test wave for women.

The Fuerteventura Wave Classic 2009 is a new event format soulsurfing expression session to be held in the north of Fuerteventura from 28 February to 10 March 2009. The aim is to bring together some of the best riders of the moment in perfect surf conditions.
The event came at the initiative of Thomas Traversa windsurfers and JB Caste with the idea of organizing a competition where participants have waves weather, wind and waves to express the best of its kind in the surf. Some of the best professional riders in the world and the best local riders faced by teams in perfect conditions on the north coast of Fuerteventura.
It has formalized a waiting period from 28 February to 10 March in order to enjoy a really good condition during the competition.
As for the scoring system, assessing the radical, risk, flexibility and the choice of the wave. And the ratings will make them runners are not competing at that time.

Normally around this time during the break in ell PWA World Tour, is when there is movement in the transfer window, but never been so moved as now.
NeilPryde International apparently let go of Levi Siver (which has been sailing with Severne), Alex Mussolini, Baptiste Gossein, Normen Gunzlein and current record holder Finian Maynard Speed. It remains to determine which end the season empty lofts next.
North Sails to let go of Peter Volwater not renewing his contract to be the top-ranked competitor in all disciplines (if there was an overall champion, would generally be Volwater). It also appears that North got rid of all the F2 team, Patrik Diethelm, Taty Frans, Mattia Pedrani, Karin Jaggi and Peter Volwater ombrado above. Antxon Otaegui European Champion 2008 Freestyle TVET

After an amazing season, Lanzarote freestyler Antxón Otaegui proclaimed European champion freestyle TVET circuit 2008.
Antxón has achieved good results in Europe in recent years winning multiple tests, but the lack of consistency prevented him from reaching the top ranking in previous years. It seems that this year the results were finally rewarded his dedication on the European circuit.
This 2008, the rider from Lanzarote started strong with a third place in Tarifa and after winning two events later was second and fourth in Podersdorf was a combined test of the PWA and TVET, the first rider of the European classification!
This is an amazing result and given the high level of TVET, most riders which also participate in the World Cup.

The number 9 all after the latest round of test waves of the PWA Pozo Izquierdo in the Canaries, Philip Köster, in case anyone forget only 14 years, finally made his mark with his aggressive style and full repertoire for their age.
All this talent has always been of interest to all manufacturers and sponsors and is in fact Starboard who has tried to get their hands on the new champion again, who was let go after F2.
There is no doubt that Starboard has done himself a favor by adding a high quality browsing to your Prokids in the process ...

With nearly 20 knots of wind onshore, Normen Günzlein Antxon Otaegui and on the sleeve is enfrentarion end near the shore, facing the judges tower.
Normen Günzlein devil took a funnel, a fabulous kono switch and also a Kulo, apart from other maneuvers in his repertoire. Antxon demonstrated his style maneuvers as chachoos switch, clew first puñeta Diablo, and a "sick" and esliders ponch on both sides. In the end the spectators and the riders had to wait several minutes to find the decision they had taken the judges, as it was very difficult to decide between the two.
In the end the winner was Antxon Otaegui by 3 votes to 2 for Normen Günzlein.
The circuit TVET left Greece after 2 test results. The next stop will be in Alacati, Turkey where they also expect good conditions for freestyle.

Catalunya Costa Brava PWA Slalom World Cup 2008

Antoine Albeau and Karin Jaggi win and get ahead in the classification of Slalom World Tour.
The Bay of Roses has been the scene of the second round of Slalom PWA calendar, from 10 to 15 June. The test was played in Sant Pere Pescador, with the La Ballena Alegre 2 campsite where the fleet has stayed the PWA.
Participation in this event was high, with a total of 66 men and 21 women enrolled, making it one of the biggest slalom fleets to compete in a test of the PWA for the past 8 years.
The first two days of competition the wind was too lazy to make sleeves, and most competitors used the time to prepare and adjust their material for the third day where the wind forecast was good. The forecast did not fail and the third day offered perfect conditions for slalom.

Confirming the dates of the first round of the PWA in the Canary Islands.
First was supposed to have Slalom42 and Freestyle competition, but competition was postponed for other dates and at the end there will be racing slalom, freestyle only.
Once again, Costa Teguise acojeráa's competitors for the second test PWA freestyle male, and the first for the women in this discipline.
The dates have been officially confirmed, and the test will be held from 23 to 28 June. Attend all who aspire to win the freestyle championship and hopes to see a good show depending on the conditions which can vary from a slight breeze winds of 40 knots and waves of mast.

The windsurfing and snowboarding company is bankrupt. The company was purchased no more than 1 year for a company based in Salzburg.
According to credit institutions, the debt amounted to 5.8 million. The current values of the company amounted to no more than 800,000 €.
The company has been forced to declare bankruptcy due to high debts mainly due to the large spending on marketing, product development and recruitment of summer and winter athletes.
Due to the insolvency of the company, F2 International GmbH, FN Alpenstr. 99, 5020 Salzburg, 290347g, Salzburg regional court has rejected the request not to declare bankruptcy.

Antoine Albeau (FRA 192) has broken the world record sailing speed to improve the previous record by 0.4 knots to reach a speed of 49.09 knots.
