Windsurfing course for children

Britt Dunkerbeck organizes a weekend of windsurfing for children.

On Saturday and Sunday 4 and Feb. 5 at Playa de Aguila, Gran Canaria, the Centre organizes windsurfing Dunkerbeck a free course for beginners and advanced dedicated exclusively to children.

The weekend will start with the beginners group in the Playa del Aguila if the wind allows. Sunday will be reserved for the advanced group sail on Eagle Beach, Pozo, Arinaga or Vargas depending on conditions.
Events take place as follows:

Saturday 4 February. BEGINNER WINDSURFING.

Time 11:00 to 14:30

Introduction to the sport of windsurfing and sailing basics. The team will be specially adapted for children allowing appropriate management. If sea conditions and the wind permitting, we will be in the water, if not, we will use the pool complex Shore Side on the beach. The only requirements that the child / as to meet are: be able to swim perfectly without any outside help (float, sleeves, etc..) And the minimum age is from age 4. In addition to the swimsuit, towel and something to eat we recommend a wetsuit for the time we spend on the water more enjoyable.

Sunday February 5. ADVANCED WINDSURFING.

Time 11:00 to 14:30

Maneuvers will train and refine our style on the table trying to eliminate the occasional bad habit. It is essential to know to sail well, and I plan to keep a steady course in addition to controlling the use tack and harness and straps. The place where we sail depends on the conditions of wind and waves. The same Sunday morning between 9:00 and 10:00 am which will be informed about the most appropriate contact by phone 600 63 71 67 Britt Dunkerbeck assures us that this is not the only initiative to introduce this smaller sport to take this year so I hope will be a great success to see that the next time we are surprised to windsurfers.
