Dario Ojeda won the first Canarian Waveriders 2007

Finally came the wind and waves in Pozo Izquierdo and could hold the first Canarian Waveriders test circuit 07, in which Dario Ojeda grancanario imposed its quality and international experience for the win.
With one meter waves and winds of force 5 competition began at nine o'clock with the sleeves of the second round. The main favorites for the win were not surprised by their rivals and were going rounds up to an exciting semi-finals.

The first one is faced Julio Franco 'Fito', Josep Pons, Juan Daniel Rodriguez and Daniel Bruch, earning a spot in the grand final Menorca, Josep Pons, while John Daniel would fight for the third and fourth.

In the second semi-final were the faces Eleazar Alonso, Pablo Ruiz, Ismaelle De Nuzzo and Dario Ojeda. The place in the final World Cup went to Dario Ojeda, Pablo Ruiz being second, and thus obtaining a place in the consolation final.

In the fight for third place was seen a good show, being finally conejero Juan Daniel Rodriguez who uploaded the third step of the podium, pushing Paul to the fourth.

And finally, after many days without wind, but with many activities and fun, it was the long awaited by all, the end of the first appointment of the Canarian Waveriders 07. On one hand the local Dario Ojeda, and secondly the Menorca Josep Pons, both ready to take the 750 euros for the winner.
It was a nice manga, hard fought and exciting, which eventually lead Dario Ojeda by a double forward, three table top forward and excellent way to surf, proving a perfect knowledge of the beach of Pozo Izquierdo.

This will put the end to four days of testing in the Canarian Waveriders 07, which will be followed the first weekend of July on the beach of El Burro on the island of Fuerteventura, the second stop of the circuit organized by Secondreef .
