End of the World Cup Sylt Nivea and purpose of the PWA 2005
The crowd cheered the champions of the PWA 2005 in the final day of the Nivea World Cup Sylt 2005. End of the season.
Nivea World Cup Sylt's had to say goodbye after a weekend without wind, which means that interim results on Friday became the final results of the test. The wave competition could not be completed, leaving the competition of women without an official classification and testing of men with 8 windsurfers share the first position. In random order, the winners of the test waves are Greg Allaway Sylt (KA-38, Mistral / North), Victor Fernandez (E-42, Fanatic), Nik Baker (K-66, Mistral / North Sails), Vidar Jensen (N-44, North Sails), Kauli Seadi (BRA-253, Quatro / Naish), Alex Mussolini (E-30, JP / Neil Pryde), Robby Swift (K-89, JP / Neil Pryde) and Peter Volwater (H-24, F2).
Without an official result here in Sylt, Daida Moreno (E-64, Mistral / North Sails) is the sixth title of waves in his career.
In the Slalom 42, the battle was fierce, but in the end Bjorn Dunkerbeck (E-11, North Sails) won ahead of Micah be Buzianis (USA-34, F2 / North Sails) and Antoine Albeau (F-192, Neil Pryde .) This means an unprecedented result, Bjorn Dunkerbeck (E-11, North Sails) and Micah Buzianis (USA-34, F2 / North Sails) share first place in the overall ranking of Slalom42. This victory means the world title for Dunkerbeck 34, and the first shared with Micah Slalom 42 Buzianis (USA-34, F2 / North Sails), as the Slalom 42 is a new discipline.
So, this was all in the Nivea World Cup Sylt 2005 and the PWA circuit 2005. All riders are already preparing their trips around the world in search of better conditions to train the maximum in view of the 2006 season. It seems that the first test of 2006 will be the Indoor at the London Boat Show.
