Fuerteventura Wave Classic 2009 - Windsurfing Contest
The Fuerteventura Wave Classic 2009 is a new event format soulsurfing expression session to be held in the north of Fuerteventura from 28 February to 10 March 2009. The aim is to bring together some of the best riders of the moment in perfect surf conditions.
The event came at the initiative of Thomas Traversa windsurfers and JB Caste with the idea of organizing a competition where participants have waves weather, wind and waves to express the best of its kind in the surf. Some of the best professional riders in the world and the best local riders faced by teams in perfect conditions on the north coast of Fuerteventura.
It has formalized a waiting period from 28 February to 10 March in order to enjoy a really good condition during the competition.
As for the scoring system, assessing the radical, risk, flexibility and the choice of the wave. And the ratings will make them runners are not competing at that time.
