PWA Gran Canaria 2007

From 9 to 18 July was held the world championship event in Pozo Izquierdo windsurfing. Gran Canaria again give away to competitors with strong winds and perfect conditions for all modes.

Wave

On the first day of competition, a good swell allowed the competition to launch waves. Locals canaries as Dario Ojeda and Vidar Jensen reached the semifinals demonstrating water quality. The final disputed Kauli Seadi, world champion in 2005 and the Spanish Victor Fernandez. Both were labeled as incredible jumps forward or double-forward pushloop novel. However, Victor Fernandez won thanks to higher quality in the surf.

The next day he held the double elimination where Kevin Pritchard, Mark Perez and Julien Taboulet made great comebacks in the standings. In the final, again imposed Victor Fernandez, sealing the victory of the event.
