Mormaii Ibiraquera PWA 2007

Kauli Seadi is imposed on its home spot getting their first victory of an event in 2007 and strengthens its leadership in the world cup.

The PWA tour returns to South America in 2007 with a new test in Brazil. The competition was held in Ibiraquera, in the Natural Park of the State of Santa Catarina. In this natural reserve of incredible beauty, competitors enjoyed waves of high quality and consistent wind. The left-surfing conditions meant a new challenge to competitors favoring greater equality in the competition.

Kauli Seadi was the winner of the single elimination, followed by Levi Siver, Nik Baker and Kevin Pritchard. In the double elimination, Victor Fernandez was eliminated early in the simple staged an epic comeback winning 7 straight against Scott McKercher heats, Ricardo Campello, Josh Angulo, Klaas Voget, Robby Swift and Kevin Pritchard. Victor's comeback to the podium was thwarted by Nik Baker Levi Siver defeated and took second place.
