PWA Sylt 2005

The best is yet to come: The PWA Sylt reached to end the season waves and continue the slalom:

After a short break the PWA fleet is preparing for what is one of the greatest events calendar, Sylt (Germany). The last few weeks the riders have been training hard and really going to need, the years have shown that in Sylt can spend anything from a light breeze of 5 knots to a hurricane Well sort of 50 knots. This year the race starts on 23 September and runs until October 3. As in previous years, a large crowd will attend the small island of Sylt to see the elite windsurfers in action.

This test is the latest wave of calendar 2005 and the second in the slalom which recently began its season on Fuerteventura. A journey that began some months ago in the legendary Hookipa Beach Park on Maui and in a few days to reach its destination, where the North Sea will see the outcome of the title and the overall wave.

Sylt is one of the most radical in terms of conditions on the planet. In the wind changes sylt onshore to offshore and left to right without warning, Sylt not be a cakewalk for competitors, Sylt predictions are more difficult than elsewhere, anyone can win.

In the category of male waves, the goal is to beat Kauli Seadi (BRA-253, Quatro / Naish), having won in Pozo and finishing second in Guincho and Maui, Brazil is in the lead ahead of Kevin Pritchard (US -3, Starboard / Maui Sails) and Nik Baker (K-66, Mistral / North). As for women the championship is led by Daida Moreno (E-64, Mistral / North) to the following, his sister, Iballa Moreno (E-63, Mistral / North) and Karin Jaggi (Z-14, F2) .

In slalom Michah Buzianis (USA-34, F2 / North) stood first after his victory in Fuerteventura on one of the living legends of the sport, Bjorn Dunkerbeck (E-11, North), then the fastest man on a table Finian Maynard (IVB-11, F2 / Naish).

With all these stars competing for the same goal in Sylt, it is not surprising that all of us are aware of what will happen from September 23 in the small German island. Eleven days more radical action than you can follow from totalwind sow.
