Red Bull Big Days 2007
Hand in hand with RedBull comes a new competition format. This event is no fixed date was set for when the first autumn storm reached the coast of Germany. Meteorological services gave notice to the last Friday November 9 were expected to gust up to 50 knots.
On the appointed day the wind blew with hurricane gusts and a frigid temperatures did not exceed 5 ° C. Under these harsh conditions, 18 local riders selected through a qualification round faced 12 professional riders gathered for the event. Finally it was one of the local riders, Lars Gobisch who against all expectations and beat Andy Wolf Klaas Voget second and third, respectively.
