Venezuela National Open Results 2008
From 21 to February 23 was held at the National Open Yaque first Venezuelan Windsurf.
As for the Freestyle, Ricardo Campello Gollito Estredo and were the favorites, but the presence of many high-level riders and gave emotion to the event. Among those enrolled included Cheo Diaz, Andre Paskowski, Andy Chambers, Phil Soltysiak and many other runners PWA and TVET. As expected Gollito Estredo imposed his skill on the other runners who contested the semifinals, Ricardo Campillo, Cheo Diaz and Andre Paskowski. With such technical maneuvers and radical as Burner 360 to a hand or no hands Flaka Caña Brava, Gollito showed still the favorite for the world title in 2008.
In Juniors the fight was much harder. The winner was Deivis Paternina, who started sailing 13 months ago, who impressed with Switch Stance Flaka Chachos and thus Devils and won his first competition.
As for the women, was the local winner of Brendt Yoli.
In the men's slalom was also attended by high level runners as the Venezuelan champion Alexis Carache or Diony Guadagnino who last year contested the World Cup. At the moment of truth, however, proved to be a struggle Slalom between Andre Paskowski, Ricardo Campello Gollito Estredo and that being the most consistent of the three took the victory. Alexis Carache and Diony Guadagnino were fourth and fifth respectively.
