We caught up with new team rider Francisco to see how he feels about 2008.
Q : What event are you most looking forward to this year?
A : I'm looking forward to go to Hawaii and I want to try to do the Pwa world cup in Gran Canaria.
Q : Who or what got you into windsurfing?
A : Due to my father I started to practice wind surfing at the age of nine. My father always sailed when it was windy and one day I decided to try it.
Q : What was your first windsurfing board?
A : My first board was a Starboard GO 1551
Q : Where is your favorite windsurfing location?
A : I love practice windsurfing in Pozo Izquierdo and, of course, in Almeria.
Q : What is your favorite board?
A : The board I like is the Pure Acid 68l because it's very fast, comfortable and when I do the bottom turn is very stable.
Q : What do you want to achieve this year?
A : I want to improve my wave riding and I want to finish on the podium in the formula windsurfing world championship in Portimao (Portugal)
Q : What trick or move are you currently working on?
A : Nowadays I'm trying the shaka.
Q : How do you prepare for competitions?
A : When it's windy always I'm on the water and I also go to the gym to keep fit.
Q : What is your most favorite windsurfing memory to date?
A : I always remember the day when I started to windsurf.
