The freestyle wave this year is by far the biggest line of boards with 8 volumes available to find the right balance for your style and use.
This is the carbon/Kevlar version of the freestyle wave with more rounded outlines allowing snappier, tighter turns and narrower tails and noses allow for smoother transitions and wave riding.
The board ranges from 80 litres though to 115 litres all with a full double concave on a single V rail to rail configuration

RRD Twin Tip 2008

[imx:250:250]http://www.totalwind.net/galeria/d/11271-1/RRD-Twin-Tip-2008-freestyle.jpg[/img]

The 2008 Twin Tip is RRD's dedicated Freestyle machine. If spocks, grubbies, 360s, flakas and cana bravas are your thing then you need this board.

There are 3 boards in the range. The 90 is the high wind freestyle board, the 100 is for medium winds and the 110 is for planing freestyle in very light winds.

The boards have been developed from last year's models and are faster to plane due to smaller spock tails. They have higher top speeds because of the faster rocker lines and the entire range features a full double concave that makes them easier to ride in choppy water.

All the boards are supplied with Maui Fin Company freestyle fins.

RRD Freestyle Wave 2008

[imx:250:250]http://www.totalwind.net/galeria/d/11261-1/RRD-Freestyle-Wave-2008_001.jpg[/img]

The Freestyle Wave is the range that best fits as an alround board. They have proven popular in the last few years for their agility and speed in both waves and flat water. Every coastal windsurfer should have a Freestyle Wave in their quiver.

There are 8 boards in this range which goes from the very wavey 80 to the freemove orientated 115.

All the boards have been shortened and given rounder outlines since last year, giving them added manoeverability and control. The noses and tails have been narrowed as well making them feel that much sweeter on a wave. The whole range features double concaves, making them rocket fast and controlable in harder conditions.

If you are looking for a board to motor around the break, jump high and ride waves, but also want something that is fun on flat water for freestyle and blasting then look no further than this range.

These boards are Carbon/Kevlar construction

RRD CD Wave

[imx:250:250]http://www.totalwind.net/galeria/d/11259-1/RRD-CD-Wave-2008.jpg[/img]

The CD Wave is RRD's completely new wave shape for 2008.

It is positioned in between a pure wave board and a freestyle wave in terms of shape. The board comes in one size only and is designed to make the most of light wind or onshore wave days.

The construction is a custom made full sandwich of Blaxial Glass, Wood and Technora

There is a limited worldwide production of 100 boards!
Volume 99 litres, 225 x 62 with a 2k MFC wave 24 fin

RRD Wave Cult 2008

[imx:250:250]http://www.totalwind.net/galeria/d/11265-1/RRD-Wave-Cult-2008.jpg[/img]

RRD have always built great wave boards, sometimes their design has not always suited for European conditions. This season the new Cult range delivers perfect wave/south coast performance.

For 2008 the Wave Cult LTD has the biggest potential to be used in a larger variety of waves , especially in choppy waters and onshore conditions. Has bigger potential for jumps and early planing.

The design is a cross between a fish wide style wave board and a regular narrow design – early planing, good in the lulls, stacks of ‘V’ for wave riding, tears through the chop and each size carries a good wind range/sail size. The deck profile is good and the pads offer great heel shock absorption.

RRD Wave Cult Hardcore 2008

[imx:250:250]http://www.totalwind.net/galeria/d/11267-1/RRD-Wave-Cult-HCW-Hardcore-wave-2008.jpg[/img]

This is the board that you want under your feet when it gets really gnarly. The classic wave shape cuts through the chop and remains in control both on the water and in the air.

You will not find a production board with a thinner tail - typical of state of the art custom boards.

The 2008 board provides more stretched and narrower outlines, tails and noses and full double concave inside a full single concave rail to rail configuration.
